West Bridgford restaurant’s plans for play centre and shop approved

Restaurant Chin Chin in West Bridford is set to be split into three different areas after plans were given the green light by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

Owners of Chin Chin want to change the building on Bridgford Road so that it still includes the restaurant, but also a small retail unit and a children’s play centre.

The move will create an additional eight jobs, according to a planning application lodges by Chin Chin’s owners.

Formerly the Oriental Pearl, Chin Chin was launched in May last year and serves pan-Asian tapas.

Plans show that the nursery would have a floorplate of 291.4 sq m, the commercial space 13.4 sq m and the bar and restaurant 323 sq m. The play centre and restaurant would be over two floors.
