Nottinghamshire homebuyers are being encouraged to visit the new show homes at Barratt Homes’ development Edwalton Park to get a feel for the development and interior design inspiration for their home.
The two three bedroom show homes and one three/ four bedroom home, which opened to the public recently, have been designed with the customer in mind and are warm and inviting from the moment you step through the door.
The three bedroom Finchley show home has a classic countryside theme to it and the designers have used floral patterns and neutral colours to reflect on the surroundings of the development.
The use of calm and tranquil colours throughout the home embrace the natural aesthetic and not only makes the home classic yet contemporary, it is welcoming and warm. The children’s bedroom is designed with a tea party theme so it is on trend and eye catching.
The three bedroom Morpeth show home is designed to be very bright and fresh with a mixture of white and grey painted furniture throughout to appeal to modern family living.
The designers have used ivory and grey bases throughout the home with accents of soft blush pinks and navy blues that appeal to a young and stylish family. The large dining table and welcoming and homely kitchen accentuate the family feel to the home and recognises this area as the heart of the property.
The three/ four bedroom Rochester show home has been designed for a young professional couple and uses stylish and edgy metallic throughout the home to make it trendy and contemporary.
The overall look of the show home is smart and sophisticated and appeals to the more style conscious home owner. Copper and bronze are used as feature colours in the home and create a stylish, on-trend look, giving the home a luxurious feel.
The furniture throughout has clean lines and is finished in a mix of mirrored, grey wash oak and black adding to an upmarket, fashionable feel. The large open plan kitchen and dining area have been designed so they are perfect for entertaining guests and family members.
Polly Clare, Interior Designer at Claude Hooper, said: “In each of the three show homes at Edwalton Park we used different themes and designs to appeal to each of their target audiences.
“For example one of the homes is aimed at modern family living, whilst another is especially designed to appeal to young couples and first time buyers.
“With a distinctive theme in each home, potential customers can pick up inspiration and tips to help them visualise themselves living in the home.”
Set in the charming suburb of Edwalton, the development will offer a selection of two, three and four bedroom homes designed to suit a range of homebuyers.
Edwalton Park is in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside whilst also being close to West Bridgford and Nottingham city centre.
Jan Ruston, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “Our new show homes give buyers a chance to envisage what living at Edwalton Park will be like and get a feel for life at the development.
