Nottingham-based design and print agency Ginger Root has appointed three full-time team members, six months after moving to larger premises to support the company’s recent business growth.

Katie Sutton joins Ginger Root as account manager, a new role for the company. Justin Hallam has been appointed as the team’s expert in-house sign and print finisher and Nottingham-local Chris Allwright will be supporting Justin in his role as production assistant.

A recent graduate from Nottingham Trent University achieving BA and MA degrees in linguistics, Katie was approached specifically for the role of account manager and will be responsible for supporting day-to-day office management, client liaison and helping to grow Ginger Root’s client base.

She said: “I was attracted to Ginger Root as it is a growing business that works with a broad range of clients. Most people would be familiar with the work the team has delivered across the city of Nottingham, such as large window graphics, signage and promotional materials, and I’m looking forward to strengthening Ginger Root’s brand further.

“I’m thrilled to be joining such a friendly team as I know they are committed to giving customers the best possible service – often a same day turnaround for print items – as well as giving me the opportunity to meet more regional businesses to help them communicate their brand.”

Ginger Root had previously worked with Justin when they required an expert for their more complex fabrication and installations. When the opportunity arose to add Justin and his skillset to the team, there was no hesitation in offering him a permanent position to support the agency’s increased workload.

“Ginger Root works on some really interesting projects so I’m excited to be joining the team full time,” said Justin.

“The agency has recently moved to a new office and the extra space has quickly been filled with a number of high spec machines. This increased manufacturing capability means they can offer their clients an even quicker turnaround. Everyone at Ginger Root takes pride in their work and I’m looking forward to maintaining that high standard.”

Chris Allwright’s addition as production assistant, further supports the team with the running of its in-house print machinery and finishing equipment. Chris will also be tasked with fitting signage and window graphics onsite for Ginger Root’s clients.

They are based in the East Midlands and work nationally, with design and print under one roof they offers bespoke design, signage, website and print services to a wide range of clients.
