Hallam welcomes two new directors to the board

Nottingham based Hallam Internet, continues its impressive growth by promoting two long-standing employees to the Board of Directors, improving its services and building even further the strengths of a new leadership team.

Newly appointed Marketing Services Director, Ben Wood, and Sales Director, Jake Elliott, deliver superb results for Hallam and have had integral roles in driving the business forward. The advanced nature of the work they do merit this progression in their careers and they both move into their new roles effective immediately.

Ben, 29, is from Nottingham and joined Hallam in 2012 as a Digital Marketing Consultant. He has progressed to Digital Marketing Manager, and then to Head of Digital as the business has grown.

His latest role is Marketing Services Director, where he looks after all work that requires marketing support. He has notable successes in growing the team at Hallam as well as improving Hallam’s service offering, processes, and tools.

Jake, 27, is also from Nottingham and joined Hallam in 2014 as New Business Manager. He has been at the forefront of Hallam’s remarkable business growth, which is reflected in his new role as Sales Director. When Jake first started, Hallam employed 8 people.

Three years on, Hallam now have a team of over 40 and a growing portfolio of clients which includes the United Nations, Raleigh, The Money Shop, and many others.



Ben Wood, a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, commented on his new role “The growth we’ve experienced over the past few years has been nothing short of phenomenal. This period of high growth has given me exposure to almost every aspect of business management and has enabled me to develop in ways that wouldn’t have been possible in a large organisation.

Jake Elliott, who month on month wins new business for Hallam, said “Being part of Hallam’s growth has been incredibly satisfying and I am excited to take a step up into Directorship.

The promotions are also set to play a key role in meeting a rising demand for digital marketing services, as Hallam now has a growing national reputation.
