His last role within the company was as the Operations Director at sister company David Wilson Homes South Midlands, based in Northampton and he was fast tracked on a management course to his current role.

As Managing Director, Chris, who is from Birmingham, is responsible for all aspects of operation within the company.

Chris said: “In my new role, I’m excited by both the proposal of a new challenge and by the opportunity to work within a long standing division which has a reputation for delivering high quality homes.

“I have always aspired to work in such a leadership role and I was attracted to the housebuilding industry because it is exciting, fast paced and very satisfying to see a project through from start to finish.

“It is a privilege to be a part of the whole process of delivering new homes, from sourcing and acquiring land, right through to putting the finishing touches on a home.

“My hopes for the division are to consistently build high quality homes across the midlands that will benefit a range of different buyers and maintain the high standard that Barratt Homes is known for.”
