West Bridgford Library hosts the first SELL OUT event in the Inspire Poetry Festival!
Internet sensation Hollie McNish will appear at West Bridgford Library on 12 July and perform her poetry to a full house.
But tickets are still available for other great poetry events at the library: Joanne Limburg talks about her latest book The Autistic Alice, exploring her personal experience of autism (11 July, 7.30pm), and celebrated spoken work artists Panya Banjoko and Abii will perform a unique fusion of music and lyrics on 13 July (7.30pm).
For younger audiences (recommended age 7+) the hilarious A.F. Harrold will share his poems about cats, hedgehogs and things you find in a poet’s beard! (15 July, 10.30am)
And if you can’t bear to miss Hollie McNish, there are still a few tickets left for her special ‘Mums’ Night Out’ performance at Worksop library on 13 July.
The Inspire Poetry Festival is funded by Arts Council England via the National Lottery and will take place in West Bridgford, Worksop and Mansfield Central libraries for the first time, as well as celebrating its tenth year at Southwell Library.
