    Grade: Band A point 29 – 34. £22,417-26,047 (actual salary)
    Hours: 37 hours per week term time only (39 weeks) or part time considered
    Maternity Cover 12 months Fixed Term Contract

    Trent Academies Group is a Multi Academy Trust based in Nottingham currently working with three academies, Rushcliffe School in West Bridgford, The Farnborough Academy in Clifton and Arnold Hill Academy, Arnold. We are expecting to increase this in the coming year.

    We require an experienced HR Officer to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will have at least two years experience of providing HR advice in a public/education service organisation. They will have experience of interpreting and applying pay and conditions of service, have knowledge of statutory requirements and employment law.

    We are looking for the following skills and experience:

     Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels, give sound advice and be decisive
     Good IT skills and experience of using databases and assimilating data
     Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and co-ordinate various processes
     Experience of managing and prioritising a diverse workload, to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
     Excellent reporting, written and oral communication skills
     Tact, diplomacy and attention to detail
     Ability to travel between schools

    We are currently updating out HR and Payroll processes and this will be a busy time ensuring that this project is successfully rolled out. A self-motivated team player is required who can demonstrate a flexible approach, have a willingness to develop skills and a commitment to working within the ethos of the Trent Academies Group.
