    Established for 45 years, with an excellent reputation St Giles Pre-school is situated in central West Bridgford, offering very high standards of care and play opportunities for children aged 2 to school age.

    With our focus being on learning through play, our mission is to provide a caring and inclusive setting where our inspiring and safe learning environment with well trained, experienced staff provide high quality teaching and learning for all our children. We support children to become lifelong learners through our commitment to and cooperative partnership with the community and families we serve.
    We are looking to appoint a Manager to join a friendly, supportive team and to work approximately 15 – 20 hours per week, including 2/3 sessions per week 8.45am – 1.45pm (term time) plus an average of 5 hours’ admin per week to be done as and when is required.
    Working as a Manager at St Giles, you will be expected to manage the day to day organisation and administration of the Pre-school and ensure high standards of care, education, safety and well-being of children, their families and the Pre-school staff in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Statutory Framework.

    The manager together with the staff group committee will also be responsible for the administration relating to the running of the pre-school, ensuring compliance with regulations and, along with the Treasurer, oversee the accounts.
    We are looking for a friendly, approachable person who is an excellent team worker, who is proactive and works to a high standard. With good organisational skills, you will need to have a minimum of level 3 full and relevant early years childcare qualification and at least 2 years’ Early years’ experience and a very sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework, preferably with some experience of management and proven leadership skills in a setting.
