Locallink Buses

Nottingham City Council’s Local Link bus service had an important timetable change in 2014 to serve West Bridgford’s Embankment Primary Care Centre.

Locallink L2 has been replaced by L22 and L23.

L22 will run a clockwise circular route from Gamston via West Bridgford, Wilford Hill, Ruddington, Clifton, Silverdale, Wilford Lane, West Bridgford (Central Avenue) Lady Bay to Gamston. L23 will run the same route but anti clockwise. See map for more information.

L22 and L23 will provide an improved service with more buses Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays.

The new route now passes the new combined doctors surgery on Wilford Lane – The Embankment Primary Care Centre.

The service is operated by Nottingham Community Transport and jointly funded by Nottingham City Council and The Embankment Primary Care Centre.

Locallink Plus services provide vital links from residential areas to shops, health centres, leisure facilities and community centres. The small size of these buses means that they can access smaller streets and, therefore, provide a service to those communities which would otherwise be isolated from the transport network. Some of the services have demand responsive areas around their normal route. If you live in one of these areas you can call the free phone booking line and arrange for the bus to pick you up close to your home.
