Man charged after serious assault in Nottingham

22-year-old man was due to appear in court today following a serious assault in Nottingham.

Three men, aged 33, 24 and 19, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with serious injuries after the incident in Hawksley Road, Radford, at around 2.50am on Sunday (19 March 2017). The 24-year-old and 19-year-old remain in a serious but stable condition and the 33-year-old has been discharged.

Kieran Dawson, of Aspley, was due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 21 March 2017) charged with three offences of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and one offence of possession of a knife.

Two girls, aged 17 and 15, were also arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Detectives are trying to trace another man in connection with the assault and appealed for anyone who has any information that may be helpful to the enquiry to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 123 of 19 March 2017, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
