May 20: ‘Spring into Summer’ with Nottingham Concert Band

West Bridgford-based Nottingham Concert Band returns to St Swithun’s Church in Woodborough (NG14 6DA) on Saturday 20 May with ‘Spring into Summer’, an evening of light music chosen to both amuse and entertain.

Conductor & Music Director Robert Parker will be leading the 50 or so players through a delightfully varied programme. ‘We’ll be playing music inspired by summer parties and celebrations, outings to the theatre and cinema, and holidays around the UK and further afield,’ he says. ‘We’ve had great fun putting the programme together and I’m sure the audience will enjoy the evening as much as we do!’
