HOOp-LA workshop will take place on Friday 24th March from 10.30am – 1pm at Locally Produced for You 31 Central Ave, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5GQ. Walk through the middle of the Health Store to find this little gem of an independent business.
This creative workshop you will be guided by Gerry Rennie from Knitted Swimsuit and Geri McCabe from Little Red Stitch. Participants will create a beautiful piece of textile art using hand stitching and applique which will be framed in an embroidery hoop. This time the theme will be hearts. Full instructions will be given, all materials will be provided and tea and biscuits will be there to support the creative process.
The workshop will be fun and friendly and have fabulous results. It will be a chance to relax, think creatively and explore a delicious range of materials.
This workshop will add to the repertoire of possibilities offered by Locally Produced for You which already include glass making, crochet, ceramics, rag rugs and printing.
