New general manager for Brewhouse & Kitchen

Brewhouse & Kitchen has grown its team with the appointment of a new general manager.

David Griffiss, 38, is originally from Burton-on-Trent and will return to his Midlands roots to lead the Nottingham team, having previously managed the company’s Southampton venue for two years.

 

Before joining Brewhouse & Kitchen, David worked at sea for nine years on the RMS QM2 and QE2 as bar waiter and then assistant bar manager.

 

David said: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to my new role with the Nottingham team and bringing the experience and knowledge I have accumulated from the Southampton site with me.

 

“The team is already doing a brilliant job in Nottingham and I’m excited to help boost their success further. Brewhouse & Kitchen is all about customer experience, so that will be my main focus for the team.”

With 42 staff, the Nottingham team is one of Brewhouse & Kitchen’s largest across its 17 regional sites.

Every Brewhouse & Kitchen site offers over 50 different craft beers and an interesting selection of ciders from breweries around the world, as well as a playful selection of ‘beertails’, wines and spirits, expertly paired with dishes from their menus.
