Nottingham architect to deliver over £100m worth of projects

Nottingham-based Franklin Ellis Architects is set to deliver projects across the East Midlands and beyond worth over £100m over the next three years.

The practice, which works on private and public sector projects from large urban regeneration through to small-scale developments, is seeing a marked improvement in the buoyancy of the construction sector and an increasing demand for its design services.

The RIBA accredited firm, which has 40 employees and is based on The Ropewalk, has experienced rapid business growth particularly in the last five years which has seen it double its turnover.

The £100m pipeline of work includes projects in Nottingham, Leicestershire and the South East across PRS, residential, education and hotels.

Franklin Ellis Architects, which will celebrate 25 years of business next year, has designed high-profile buildings throughout the East Midlands including the £9m Derby Innovation Centre, £4m Loughborough Innovation Centre and multiple hotel projects including Nottingham’s Hilton Hotel and Lincoln’s Holiday Inn Express.
