Fraser Brown Solicitors is celebrating the success of five members of its team, with two qualifying as solicitors and a further three being appointed as trainee solicitors.
Emma Adkins and Marcus-Adam Tuck have successfully completed their two-year training contract with the firm and Sarah Murray, Tiran Sandhu and Tabitha Sheridan-McGinnity have secured trainee schemes.
Emma Adkins, from Kimberley, started her training contract in September 2014 and studied at Nottingham Law School. Her first seat was in the commercial property department at Fraser Brown before she moved on to the private client and employment departments.
Prior to starting her training, Emma worked in the firm’s residential property department as a conveyancing executive.
Emma, who is now in the private client department, said: “I’m really pleased to have qualified into the private client team at Fraser Brown, with great colleagues and high quality work. I am now progressing my career further by studying for my STEP qualification, which will enable me to become a Trust and Estate Practitioner.”
Marcus-Adam, from Sherwood, started his training contract with Fraser Brown in early 2015. He also studied at Nottingham Law School and his first seat was in the corporate department. Prior to that he worked in the residential property team as a conveyancing assistant as well as a corporate assistant in the corporate team.
Marcus-Adam is a previous vice chair of the Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division and organises the popular annual young professionals rounders tournament in Nottingham.
Marcus-Adam, who is now in the corporate department, said: “My qualification is made even more exciting by qualifying into a corporate team with great quality of work. I very much look forward to my professional development with Fraser Brown.”
Sarah, Tiran and Tabitha, who also studied at Nottingham Law School, all joined the firm on temporary contracts before becoming paralegals. Tiran and Tabitha have started their training contracts in the commercial and residential property teams with Sarah due to start her training contract in September.
