A 20-year-old man has admitted two offences of engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl.
Daniel Cooper, of Birch Street, Church Warsop, committed the offences on the girl on 31 August last year.
Nottingham Crown Court heard that Cooper, who was 19 at the time, was fully aware she was under the age of legal sexual consent.

Cooper was due to stand trial for the offences but today (5 December) pleaded guilty. He was bailed to appear at the same court on 26 January 2018 for sentencing.
He was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register with immediate effect.

Detective Constable Stuart Barson, who led the investigation, said: “Cooper took advantage of a vulnerable young girl. She has shown extreme bravery to report the incident to the police. As a result, Cooper has now had to admit his criminal and depraved actions.”
