NUH’s Critical Care Outreach Team has been shortlisted for a national patient safety award.
The team are in the running for the Patient Safety in Critical Care and Trauma Patients category at this year’s Patient Safety Awards.
Their work around the expansion of the NUH CCOT service was chosen for the shortlist and will feature at the awards ceremony in July. Ahead of the awards the team will have to present their work to a panel of judges in London.
Tracey Blagden, Clinical Nurse Educator for CCOT, said: “This is an incredible achievement giving amazing recognition celebrating many years of hard work and dedication of the whole team who continually strive to improve patients experience and outcomes. As finalists we are delighted to be attending the Patient Safety Awards on 4 July 2017.”
