Pictures: Nadiya Hussain at Nottingham Castle ‘Great Food and Drink Festival’

Nottingham Castle hosts the second Great Food and Drink Festival this Bank Holiday weekend. There’s still time to catch the festival tomorrow – £10 on the gate and worth it. We went along today to take a look.

Nadiya Hussain was today’s main attraction  performing live cooking demonstrations on the stage sponsored by ‘Belvoir Fruit Farms’.

On offer were fish and chips, pizza, Thai street food, ostrich burgers, doughnuts, crepes, ice-cream, coffee, macaroni cheese, pulled pork and too many more to mention – as many food types as you can think of!
