Rushcliffe Borough Council buys Crown Estate land in Bingham

Rushcliffe Borough Council is delighted to confirm that it has acquired a piece of land in Bingham from the Crown Estate to support the need for additional commercial businesses within the town.

The plot is approximately 2 hectares at the end of Moorbridge Road East and is already allocated for employment use in the local plan.

The Council agreed to purchase the land from the Crown Estate as part of the Crown Estate’s wider development of 1000 new homes and employment development on the land north of Bingham.

The Council will now undertake an initial masterplan exercise whilst marketing the land for commercial use with local agents in the near future.
