Selby Road Open Gardens returns for 2017 event

The ninth Selby Road Open Gardens will be held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May 2017 from 2pm to 6pm each day. 

This year’s event is in aid of PARKINSON’S UK Nottingham Branch.

We have nine gardens to view, two cafes, a PARKINSON’S UK Nottingham Branch information stall, a free children’s trail “Going on a Bear Hunt”, West Bridgford Social Singers, Ajar folk singers, story telling by Tales from the Fireside, the tombola, plant stalls, a new unique patchwork quilt stall and a quality pop-up book shop with plenty of the authors that you think you should have read.

There are gardens open at the top [Boundary Road] and bottom [Devonshire Rd] of Selby. You can start at any open garden, these have banners and blue balloons out.

The leaflet that comes with your entry [£3 adults only, accompanied children free] gives you entry to all the other balloon marked venues on the road at no further cost.

 

If you are new to West Bridgford, here is your chance to see what grows in local gardens and to enjoy a family day out.

Admission to the event is £3 for adults – accompanied children free.
