West Bridgford company seeks new developments after £13m sale

Luxury residential park specialist, Countrywide Park Homes has secured a multi-million pound deal in a bid to source new developments as part of its bold expansion plans for 2017.

After the West Bridgford-based company’s acquisition of Carlton Meres Country Park in Suffolk, Countrywide Park Homes has recently sold the plot to Park Holidays for an impressive sum that is in excess of £13 million.

The company has relocated its head office operation to the former Rushcliffe Civic Centre in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire from Leicestershire.

The sale included 280 luxury lodges alongside 200 new plots for development.

“Anthony Barney, Countrywide Park Homes’ owner and chairman, said: “Park Holidays  approached us with an offer that has enabled our business to not only secure considerable investment for future developments, it will also boost our current portfolio of 13 parks with plans for new features and improved facilities.”
