West Bridgford gnomes decorate for Valentine’s Day

The gnomes that live in the stump in West Bridgford – led by head of the family Amazon (it’s where he’s from) have decorated the property for Valentine’s Day.

Speaking exclusively to The Wire this afternoon he said, ‘We are in fact increasingly worried about the likelihood of a Spring eviction at the hand of Gnotts County Council lumberjacks, which is a concern because the children are settled in at school, and we don’t want to go and live back under Lady Bay Bridge again.’

As a token of love for wife of 11 years, Gnorma, Amazon has replaced and updated the windows on the stump, and decorated it with red love hearts.

Amazon and Gnorma have two children, Gnigel 2, and Jean 4.

Gnorma said, ‘He was always the romantic type, even after my dalliance with one of the Exchange Road Elves in the early days of our relationship, but we were young; after we married though we’ve become very close and the arrival of the children have certainly increased our bonds.’

Adding, ‘I’m delighted with the hearts gesture and will never forget this moment.’

Thanks to Geraldine –  the amazing resident who just keep this tree going!
