The weekend of 26th and 27th November saw the first race in a National series of races for wild water paddlers.

Racing was held on the River Tees, with a good number of Nottingham Kayak Club members in attendance.
Nottingham Kayak Club had very good results in all categories. Nicky Cresser continued his run of good form from last year, to take first place in the Men’s Kayak race.

Abbie Durrant was first in the Women’s Kayak race, with Kasia Chmiel second. Both girls are fairly new to the sport, so it’s great to see them challenging more experienced paddlers. Ryan Hunt was first in the Men’s Canoe race.
