The fire started at around 2 am on Sunday 22 August at an industrial site in Stapleford Road in Trowell.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 5 am:
‘UPDATE: We now have 12 appliances on scene. Stapleford Road is currently shut and will be for some time.
‘We want to remind people in the local area to stay away from the area, and keep all windows and doors shut.’
‘Crews are working hard to dampen down the fire.
‘We have seven fire engines, two Aerial Ladder Platforms, a water bowser and a High Volume Pump on scene.

‘Stapleford Road will stay closed for the foreseeable so please avoid the area.
Crews from Castle Donington station have been mobilised to this incident to assist Nottinghamshire FRS with the High Volume Pump and Hose Layer.
