Inspector Rob Lawton, Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Rushcliffe, said: “This was a complex investigation but I am pleased that with the support of the community the suspect for this rural crime will now be brought before the courts.
“I hope this sends a strong message to the people in my rural communities that I am totally committed to tackling rural crime.
“Rural crime remains a priority as I know the significant impact it has when living, working and visiting the area.”
A 28-year-old man has now been reported for summons to appear before magistrates.
