More trentbarton routes will see more frequent services and Sunday timetables from this coming Sunday July 26.
As further coronavirus restrictions are eased and more people seek to travel, trentbarton has continued to reinstate services and boost reduced frequencies to be there for customers who now want to travel.
From this Sunday the improvements are:
Plus, at the start of August the sixes move to an every15 minutes timetable, which includes 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4and 6X.
Jeff Counsell, managing director at trentbarton, said: “It is great to get more services back on the road so our customers can again choose to travel on our Covid-secure buses.
“Each bus gets an overnight deep clean and additional disinfections during each day. Our drivers have their temperature checked each shift and have protective screens.
“There are sanitising stations on board and payment can be contactless. Customers still need to wear face coverings, unless they have a medical exemption.
“Last week the Prime Minister’s new coronavirus advice said anyone can now use public transport in England. We’re here and ready to provide a safe journey at greater frequency and on Sundays too.”
