16-year-old arrested after Xbox stolen in Notts burglary

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after an Xbox was stolen.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 8.40 pm yesterday (Sunday 2 August) to a house in Barn Close, Worksop to a report that a patio door had been smashed and an Xbox taken.

Detective Sergeant Jamie Moore, who is investigating the incident, said: “We know that burglary is a very upsetting crime – your home is your sanctuary and no one has the right to enter uninvited and take your belongings.

“Nottinghamshire Police has two dedicated burglary teams to ensure we are committing the necessary resources to tackle this invasive type of crime.”
