68 Nottingham patients have died after testing positive for coronavirus – 15 were announced today

Nottingham University Hospitals announced the sad news this morning.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further 15 patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

Regrettably that means that 68 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged 45 and 90, and died between the 4th and 7th April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
