A 72-year-old man is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 2 July) in connection with a stabbing.
A 38-year-old man suffered a single stab wound in Lower Parliament Street in Nottingham city centre at around 4.10pm yesterday (Saturday 30 June). He remains in a stable condition in hospital. A 24-year-old woman was also kicked during the incident.
Roy Lowe, of Bulwell, was today charged with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, affray and assault by beating in connection with the incident.
This is believed to be an isolated incident and Nottinghamshire Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
