An estimated 8,000 Rushcliffe residents attended yesterday’s fabulous Proms in the Park in West Bridgford.
You can watch Rushcliffe Borough Council’s event round-up film as the authority estimated over 8,000 people visited the free event to watch a plethora of local, national and international acts perform in Bridgford Park and celebrate Armed Forces Day.
It was headlined by a stunning performance from ITV1’s Starstruck hero Rob Lea and UK Queen Tribute Band Majesty as the Council welcomed 209 Squadron from West Bridgford, the Royal British Legion and DMRC Benevolent Fund as among those representing our local forces.
Local groups wowed the crowds too, thank you if you supported them! They included Nottingham Concert Band, The Tuneless Choir, Music for Everyone Nottingham Youth Band, The West Bridgford Liberty Singers, The Rock Choir and acapella 1940s group Abi and the Tasty Mooresels.
Thanks to Rushcliffe Borough Council for pictures.
