8,000 residents attended West Bridgford Proms in the Park

An estimated 8,000 Rushcliffe residents attended yesterday’s fabulous Proms in the Park in West Bridgford.

You can watch Rushcliffe Borough Council’s event round-up film as the authority estimated over 8,000 people visited the free event to watch a plethora of local, national and international acts perform in Bridgford Park and celebrate Armed Forces Day.

Rob Lea and UK Queen Tribute Band Majesty stunned the crowds scaled

It was headlined by a stunning performance from ITV1’s Starstruck hero Rob Lea and UK Queen Tribute Band Majesty as the Council welcomed 209 Squadron from West Bridgford, the Royal British Legion and DMRC Benevolent Fund as among those representing our local forces.

Local groups wowed the crowds too, thank you if you supported them! They included Nottingham Concert Band, The Tuneless Choir, Music for Everyone Nottingham Youth Band, The West Bridgford Liberty Singers, The Rock Choir and acapella 1940s group Abi and the Tasty Mooresels.
