Two men have been arrested and charged after a police pursuit in Aspley Lane involving a moped that was stolen last month.
Officers saw the vehicle with suspected false plates at around 12.30 pm yesterday.
It was abandoned following a police chase and two men ran from the scene.
Two 18-year-old men were swiftly arrested nearby.
Jaydon Marriott was charged with taking a vehicle without consent, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified. He pleaded guilty to the offences today (6 May 2020) and is due for sentencing at Nottingham Crown Court on 22 May.

Leemarni Garton was charged with possession of cannabis. He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 26 June.
