Councillor welcomes new zebra crossing near a West Bridgford primary school

Cllr Gordon Wheeler welcomes a new zebra crossing near Greythorn Primary School.

Gordon Wheeler, County Councillor for West Bridgford West and Chair of the Communities and Place Review and Development Committee said:
“I am delighted the pedestrian crossing, close to the drive leading to Greythorn Primary School, will soon be installed.
“I have been pushing for a crossing on Greythorn Drive for a number of years.
“The new crossing will slow down traffic and provide safer crossing on this busy road for the local community and everyone at this wonderful School”.

Three-way traffic signals will be in operation from Tuesday 6 April until Saturday 17 April.

The junction with Stowe Avenue is the location for the signals.

They will operate between 7 am and 4 pm daily.

Via East Midlands on behalf on Nottinghamshire County Council are responsible for works to install a new zebra crossing.
