The M1 in Northamptonshire is blocked southbound between J17 and J16 due to a multi-vehicle collision.
Highways England said:
‘The ambulance service are in attendance.
‘There are currently ( 08:00 28 April ) over 60 minute delays leading up to the incident and 7 miles of congestion.
‘Road users are advised to expect delays on the approach to the incident and allow extra time for their journeys.’
