With the introduction of their NHS services, patients can now nominate The Family Chemist as their chosen NHS pharmacy, and have prescriptions delivered directly to their door; securely, reliably, and without hassle. The aim was to make managing prescriptions easier for patients and careers. “As a parent myself, working full-time, I know how hard it is to find time for your own health,” says Nikita Dhain, Co-Founder of The Family Chemist.
“I didn’t have time to stand in queues for rush to the pharmacy between meetings and school pick-ups, so we built something better.”
And accessing this service has never been easier; by filling out an online sign-up form on their website, The Family Chemist will then nominate themselves as your chosen chemist, ensuring that any prescriptions sent from your GP will be sent to them automatically. Once processed, your prescription is sent out to your chosen address, completely free of charge, both to you and the NHS. This allows patients who may struggle to find time to visit a pharmacy to have their medication delivered directly to them. Saving both time and stress.
