Woman, 71, dies after collision with car in St Ann’s

A 71-year-old woman has died following a collision in Nottingham.

The pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car in Linnell Street, St Ann’s, around 9am on Tuesday (25 November).

She was taken to hospital and sadly died on Thursday (27 November).

The woman’s family is being supported by officers.

The driver of the car, a white Mercedes, stopped at the scene and has given an account to officers.

Detective Sergeant Paul Clark, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“Our thoughts and condolences are with the woman’s family following this tragic incident.

“Specially trained officers continue to work with them and offer their support.

“The family have asked for privacy as they come to terms with their loss.

“Inquiries continue into the incident and we would like to hear from anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage.”
