Police remain in Arnold town centre this morning after a car collided with a number of pedestrians in Market Place.
Video and images from the scene, show emergency services and police cordons are in place while investigations continue.

Nottinghamshire Police said the incident involved a red Vauxhall Astra and happened at 1.12am today, Saturday 9 May.

A number of people were struck by the vehicle, with one person suffering life-threatening injuries.

Police said the car was abandoned at the scene and the driver fled on foot. Officers say they have identified a suspect and are working to track him down.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said there was “no indication at this stage of any ongoing threat to the wider public”, but added that officers understood the incident would cause concern in the community.

Road closures remain in place around Arnold town centre while enquiries continue. Market Place and the junctions from Gedling Road to Derby Street, Hallams Lane and Central Avenue are closed, and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
