The Worksop North neighbourhood team recovered four stolen vehicles and arrested a suspect.
Police were first called around 5.20am on Wednesday (3 June) after the victim awoke to find his car missing from his driveway in Water Rail Road, Langold.
Armed with CCTV assistance, Bassetlaw neighbourhood officers tracked it to Little Lane, Blyth, just a few hours later.
Calls then came in at 9.45am that another vehicle was stolen from North Road, Retford.
Neighbouring officers from South Yorkshire Police swiftly recovered the car in Byron Road, Dinnington.
The final report of the day came in from Blackstone Drive, Worksop, with the car located by Bassetlaw officers in Whitwell at 3.48pm.
The owners of the vehicles have since been notified, and officers are continuing the investigation.
The team was then back out the next morning (4 June), when a BMW reported stolen from Cambridgeshire was tracked and stopped on the A1 near Warmsworth.
A suspect was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.

“Crimes of this nature are hugely upsetting for victims who also face significant financial costs when their property is stolen in this way.
“When offences are reported to us, victims can be sure that we will do our best to return their property and catch up with offenders.
“I am pleased we have been able to recover so many stolen cars within a day and this shows our commitment to clamping down on autocrime.
“Our investigations are ongoing, and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed any unusual activity in the surrounding areas in the past week.”
