‘Road closed due to crash investigation work on A57 both ways from B6034 Netherton Road to A60 Mansfield Road. Ongoing since around midnight.’
Police said at 3:23 am 11 June:
‘The incident happened just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 10 June and involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian.
‘The incident will affect a number of roads this morning with drivers being urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
‘Officers have closed off the A57 to the A60 junction, which includes the Netherton Road roundabout (B6034).
‘We apologise for an inconvenience this is likely to cause. The road is expected to be closed for some time while a thorough investigation takes place.’
