Emergency services are in attendance incident at Beeston Weir this afternoon.

The fire service said:
‘UPDATE: We are now starting to reduce our attendance at this incident however Nottinghamshire Police will remain on scene.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 3:38 pm on 24 June:
‘There is currently a large emergency service presence at Beeston Weir, following a 999 call at 1.50pm.
‘We ask the public to avoid the area whilst we deal with this incident.’
