Nottinghamshire weather for Wednesday 15 July

Wednesday 15 July is forecast to be dry, sunny and warm, with temperatures rising steadily through the day and peaking at around 27C during the afternoon.

The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout.

Early morning

Wednesday will begin dry, with some cloud around at first before brighter conditions develop. Temperatures are expected to be around 15C at 6am and 7am, rising to 16C by 8am.

Winds will come from the north-east at around 7mph, with gusts between 19mph and 20mph. Visibility will be good at first, becoming very good by around 7am.

Humidity will be high early on, at around 85% at 6am, easing to 83% by 7am and 75% by 8am. Rain is not expected, with the chance of precipitation staying below 5%.

Midday

Conditions will become warmer and brighter through the late morning and into lunchtime, with sunny spells and dry weather continuing.

Temperatures are forecast to rise from 20C at 10am to 21C by 11am and 23C by midday. The “feels like” temperature will be around 18C to 22C during this period.

Winds will remain from the north-east at around 7mph, with gusts around 21mph to 22mph. Visibility will stay very good.

Humidity will fall steadily, reaching around 43% by midday. UV levels will become high, rising to 6 by 11am and 7 at midday, so sun protection is advisable for anyone spending time outdoors.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to be warm, dry and sunny. Temperatures are forecast to reach 25C by 1pm, 26C by 2pm and around 27C by 3pm and 4pm.

The “feels like” temperature will be around 24C to 26C through the afternoon. Winds will come mainly from the north-east or east-north-east at around 6mph to 7mph, with gusts around 22mph to 23mph.

Visibility will remain very good, while humidity will fall to around 37% to 39%. UV levels will remain high during the early afternoon, reaching 7 between midday and 2pm, before easing later.

Evening

The evening will stay dry and mostly clear, with sunshine continuing into the early evening before clear spells develop later.

Temperatures are expected to fall from around 27C at 5pm to 26C by 6pm, 25C by 7pm and 23C by 8pm. It will turn cooler later, dropping to 21C by 9pm, 19C by 10pm and 17C by 11pm.

Winds will remain from the east-north-east for most of the evening, at around 7mph to 9mph, before turning north-easterly later. Gusts are expected to ease from around 23mph early in the evening to around 15mph by 11pm.

Visibility will remain very good throughout. Humidity will rise from around 37% at 5pm to 76% by 11pm. The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout.
