A passport, seven smartphones and 19 sets of keys are among more than 50 items of lost property recovered following this year’s Goose Fair in Nottingham.
Nottingham City Council has revealed some of the items handed in after hundreds of thousands of people visited the Forest Recreation Ground during the ten-day event.
The collection of lost property includes seven smartphones, five wallets, 19 sets of keys and a passport.
The council is now encouraging anyone who returned home from the fair without one of their belongings to get in touch.
Visitors who lost an item can email Goose.Fair@nottinghamcity.gov.uk to see if it has been recovered.
The lost property figures emerged after the council announced that the 2026 Goose Fair had attracted a record attendance.
An estimated 586,356 visitors attended over the ten days, 18% more than last year and 7% higher than in 2022, when the fair returned after a two-year break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Saturday 3 October was the busiest day, with 126,139 people attending.
The record was achieved despite four days of industrial action affecting Nottingham’s tram network during the fair, including days when no tram services operated to The Forest.
