Estate agency haart has opened a new Nottingham branch in Lace Market Square after relocating its 20-strong team from Upper Parliament Street.
The Sheriff of Nottingham, Councillor Audrey Dinnall, cut the ribbon at an official opening on Thursday 15 October.
The two-storey premises bring together the agency’s sales, lettings, property management and financial services teams, with space for additional staff.
The move has a personal connection for Emma Collishaw, haart’s Estate Agency Area Partner, whose parents both worked in Nottingham’s lace industry. She has worked at the Nottingham branch for 17 years, including 15 as its manager.

She said: “We’ve built a very successful business in Nottingham over many years, and this move is about building on what the team has already achieved.
“The Lace Market is a great location for the next stage of that journey. It gives our customers a modern, welcoming and accessible place to come and speak to us, while keeping us right at the heart of Nottingham.”
Andy Townsend, Area Director for haart Lettings, said the Lace Market’s development as a residential neighbourhood was a factor in the move.
He said: “The city centre has also changed considerably over the years. The Lace Market has become an important residential area, particularly for the apartment market, and the new branch puts us closer to landlords, investors and tenants while also making it much easier for people to visit us.”
The branch covers Nottingham and the surrounding area, handling properties ranging from city-centre apartments to larger family homes.
