EMR: ‘Trains on our Corby/London St Pancras will be cancelled between Wellingborough and Corby, We are working on a rail replacement bus service.’
East Midlands Railways said at 10 am 24 September:

‘We are sad to report that a person has been hit by a train.
‘This has occurred between Leicester and Kettering disrupting our trains on the Sheffield/Nottingham/London route.
‘Further information to follow.’
