The A1 northbound at A52 Barrowby is closed because of a serious traffic collision.
Lincolnshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service are currently at scene. Highways England traffic officers are on their way to the area to assist.
If planning travel, advice is to avoid the area.
AA Roadwatch reports:
‘Road closed and queueing traffic due to accident, a lorry and a van involved on A1 Northbound between A52 (Grantham North / Barrowby Turn Off) and B1174 Great North Road (Marston Turn Off). The road was closed at around 15:40.’
