Emergency services, including Nottinghamshire Police are in attendance.
Traffic is diverted as follows:-
Northbound, follow the solid square symbol, via the A638 northbound through Retford and Scrooby – and then via the A614 southbound.
Southbound, follow the solid triangle symbol, via the A57 and then southbound on the A614 to Ollerton, to join the A616 via Kneesall and Caunton – and then to re-join the A1 at Muskham/Newark.
Delays are building on the approach to this incident, with just over 3 miles of congestion, in both directions, on the approach to these diversion routes. ‘
Officers have asked for drivers to avoid the area.
