The A1 near Newark is currently closed southbound between the A607 and the B1174.
Highways England said:
‘It’s following a planned overnight closure which has overrun.
‘The roadworks are to repair a bridge expansion joint however due to weather conditions overnight we are still waiting for the tarmac to cure.
‘Due to nature of this overrun, we are unable to advise when the closure will be lifted.
