The A1 in Nottinghamshire is closed northbound between the A620 (Ranby) and A1M (Blyth) for complex vehicle recovery work following a fire yesterday evening.
Diversion Route
Road users are advised to follow the solid circle diversion symbol on road signs:
- Exit the A1 at Apleyhead Interchange and take the A57 west
- Travel along the A57 to the M1 J31
- Travel on the M1 north and at J32, take the M18
- Continue on the M18 to A1M J35 and rejoin
