The A1 is closed northbound at the junction with the A57 following a collision.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 2am today (8 September) to a report of a collision involving one lorry which left the carriageway and caught fire.
No one was injured in the incident but the northbound carriageway remains closed while the vehicle is recovered.
