National Highways said:
‘Lane 1 of (2) is currently closed on the A1 southbound between the A151 and the B668 near Stamford due to an infrastructure defect.
‘Contractors are en route but the lane is likely to remain closed throughout today with the road also planned to be closed overnight for planned roadworks.’
