Update 9 am – lanes all reopened
National Highways said at 8:34 am 21 June:
‘The A38 northbound is currently blocked between the B600 Alfreton and the M1 J28 due to a collision.
‘There are long delays of at least 40 minutes above usual journey times with congestion several miles back to Ripley.’

‘Road blocked and delays due to crash, three cars involved on A38 Eastbound from A61 Derby Road (Watchorn Island) to M1 J28 (Alfreton / Mansfield). Congestion to Ripley.’
